Cashville Online Slots Review

Cashville was released back in 2005, making it one of Microgaming’s first slots. The game was very popular in brick and mortar casinos, so MicroGaming transformed it into an online slot as well. The graphics have had a bit of a makeover to make it more modern and up to scratch compared to modern online slots, but the game play remains the same.

Cashville is a five reel slot with twenty paylines each of which are optional. Coin values range from 0.01 up to 0.20, making this a slot which falls into the penny slot category. Cashville has a large standing jackpot even though it does not cost very much to play, which will make the game appealing to players of all experiences. Maximum wager here is 200 coins a spin.

Snooty Theme

Cashville is all about rich people and their lives in a fictional city. The graphics in the game are done in drawing style with all the people looking like caricatures.  The reels are large and take up the entire screen. The graphics are detailed enough, but too detail rich s as not be able to be seen on a smaller screen. Behind the reels can be seen the green of a bank note and there is lots of gold filigree around the bottom of the reels. Player info is laid out in neat square buttons below the reels with an easy to understand format.

Caricature People

Cashville is populated by some very snooty people. There are no deck of cards symbols anywhere on the reels, everything is theme based.  The lowest paying symbols are the cash items themselves. Jewellery, a wad of cash, a cigar with gold bullion and some title deeds will pay up to 180 coins for five of a kind on an active payline. The snooty inhabitants if Cashville are the higher paying symbols. Betty Booble, Sir Stirling, Dame von Deeds and Bill Bullion will give you up to 10 000 coins each for five of a kind in a row on an active payline. Each of the lower symbols is associated with one of the higher ones.

Special symbols include a golden W for the wild symbol which can replace any base symbol in the game, and a golden S for the scatter. The scatter symbol pays out scatter wins no matter where it is found on the reels.

Four Bonus Games

Cashville has four mini bonus games, each associated with one of the snooty characters who inhabit the city. These are launched by finding three or more silver bonus symbols anywhere on the reels. When this happens you need to pick one of the characters to trigger respective game. All of these are pick me games with different items. For Bill Bullion you have to pick an oil well, Dame von Deeds asks you to pick a deed, Sir Stirling picks a vault and Betty Boodle wants you to pick a picture of a dog. The more bonus icons you get the more picks you get per character. You can also win the games standing jackpot here randomly.
